JAZZ.FM91 presents The Composers Series, at THE JAZZ BISTRO (251 Victoria Street, Toronto, ONT, CA - 416-363-5299). The series will feature local and international artists paying tribute to some of the greatest composers and songwriters of all time. Adam Makowicz, master of improvisation and a piano virtuoso, presents a "Tribute to Gershwin" on Monday, February 10th at 8:30 pm. One of the country's foremost woodwind artists, Chris Vadala, will perform atBLUES ALLEY (1073 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington, DC - 202-337-4141) on Monday, February 10th with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. Vadala is recognized as the Director of the Jazz Studies program at the University of Maryland, along with his long tenure as the standout woodwind artist for Chuck Mangione.
