NYC: JENNYLIND PARRIS ENCORE'S TRIBUTE SHOW TO CAROL BURNETT

Following three fantastic performances IN 2013, Jennylind Parris is doing an encore performance of her debut show: 'A Woman of Character: A Tribute To The Incomparable Carol Burnett' on Wednesday, February 12th at 7:00 pm atDON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) Jennylind is directed by multi-award winning director Gretchen Reinhagen and musically directed by multi-award winning musical director Tracy Stark. "A Woman of Character" will take audiences on a tour of Carol Burnett's illustrious career from "Once Upon A Mattress", and "Annie", to eleven years worth of musical numbers crossing all genres on the Carol Burnett Show, as well as variety specials, television appearances, movies, and even from her nightclub acts. The greatest thing about Ms. Burnett is that she is truly a woman of character and at the heart of this show is a desire to share the stories of her character with you. Jennylind Parris is a versatile singer, and comedic actress having performed across the country in a multitude of musicals. She starred in the award winning Off-Off Broadway production of "Where's Charley?". Having performed in-group shows at Don't Tell Mama's and The Duplex; With this show, Jennylind is making her solo debut. In addition to Musical Theatre; she also has a great gifting for Country, Pop/R&B, and Contemporary Christian music. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: THANK YOU FOR BEING A FRIEND

After sold out runs in 2009 & 2010, Thank You For Being A Friend returns to THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) for its third limited-run engagement. Performances are Wednesdays February 5th & 12th at 7:00 pm. This unauthorized musical parody inspired by the beloved TV sitcom "The Golden Girls," features book by Nick Brennan, music by Jeff Thomson, and lyrics by Luke Jones and Cisco Cardenas. In the show four women over 60 (Blanchette, the varicose-veined vixen; Dorthea, the brainy ball-buster; Roz, the lovable airhead; and Sophie, the wisecracking spitfire) are spending their golden years together in a wicker-filled bungalow in Miami. But when gay pop superstar Ricky Martin moves next door, his loud outdoor sex parties keep the quartet of cheesecake-loving retirees awake. The solution pits the gays against the girls at the annual Shady Oaks Retirement Home Talent Show: if the women win, then no more sex parties; if the gays garner top prize, the sassy seniors must serve as the party's clean-up crew. Singing, dancing and hilarity ensues! This newly revised production will feature original cast members Chad Ryan, Luke Jones, and Nick Brennan with newcomer John De Los Santos. NYC: SCOTT SIEGEL'S BROADWAY BALLYHOO WEDNESDAYS

The Broadway Ballyhoo returns this Wednesday at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) in an open-ended run that will play every Wednesday night at 10:30 pm. The Ballyhoo features a different musical revue, with new stars and different great show tunes, every single week! Scott Siegel hosts. Ian Herman is the Musical Director. The lineup this week stars TBA. There is a $25 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.

NYC: ANDREA MCARDLE - DREAM ROLES

Broadway's original Annie, Andrea McArdle, returns to 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) with an all-new show "Dream Rolse". Performances are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday & Thursday, February 10th, 12th & 13th at 7:00 pm and Friday & Saturday, February 14th & 15th at 8:00 pm. This fresh musical outing celebrates the power and magic of performing "that great role." Lovers and liars, heroes and villains, elegant ladies and outrageous broads, there is nothing that excites the imagination more than watching a classic character come to vivid life on stage. In Dream Roles, Andrea brings her soaring vocals to some of the theatre's greatest roles, the roles she's loved, the roles she's played and the roles she's always dreamed of performing. At the same time, Dream Roles showcases the dynamic melodies of Broadway's musical masters: Sondheim, Herman, Lloyd Webber, Menken and many more. NYC: THE JEFF BLUMENKRANTZ SONGBOOK

The Jeff Blumenkrantz Songbook will be presented on Wednesday, February 12th at 9:30 pm at 54 BELOW(254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551). Most recently seen in Off Broadway's Murder for Two, actor and Tony-nominated composer/ lyricist Jeff Blumenkrantz presents the world premiere of his song cycle MONTH UPON A TIME, featuring Michael McElroy, Kenita Miller, Julia Murney, Kate Wetherhead, and Jeff himself. MONTH UPON A TIME is a collection of twelve songs, each one representing a different month of the year, based on ideas Jeff collected from his Twitter and Facebook followers for the purpose of this song cycle. Subject matter ranges from Burning Man to Guy Fawkes Night to the dreaded Wedding Season, equal parts comedic, dramatic, and poignant. There is a $30-$40 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: VICTORIA HUSTON-ELEM RETURNS TO 54 BELOW

A finalist in "The Callback" competition, Victoria Huston-Elem returns to 54 BELOW(254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Wednesday, February 12th at 11:30 pm, after her wildly successful cabaret debut in the fall. With a wink, she takes the audience through a series of romantic mishaps (from first kisses to OkCupid) with a hopeful eye on the future and as much honesty as possible. Featuring the music of Andrew Gerle, Cole Porter, Peter Mills, Lydia Benecke, and more, this evening of song and story will charm you right through Valentine's Day to the greatest American holiday known to man: February 15th - the day the un-sold candy goes on sale. Victoria has performed across the country with The Addams Family national tour, and been featured at prominent regional houses, including the Goodspeed Opera House, Riverside Theatre, and Syracuse Stage. NYC: DINE & DANCE WITH VINCE GIORDANO AND THE NIGHTHAWKS - NOW AT THE IGUANA

Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks are back - and now will play every Monday & Tuesday night from 8:00 to 11:00 pm at at IGUANA'S VIP LOUNGE (240 West 54th Street, NYC - 212-765-5454). Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks is an eleven-piece band playing music of the 1920s & 30s for your dining and dancing pleasure. In 1976 Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks (originally known as the New Orleans Nighthawks) was formed. A big-band historian and collector, Giordano has more than 60,000 scores in his collection. There is a $15 cover (at the door) plus a $15 food drink minimum.
