Clint Holmes returns to THE ROYAL ROOM at THE COLONY HOTEL (155 Hammond Avenue, Palm Beach, FL - 561-659-8100) on Tuesday through Saturday, February 11th through 15th at 8:30 pm. Clint Holmes is more than a singer. His powerful voice and magnetic stage presence embrace the upbeat side of life. His first break came when Joan Rivers invited him to be her sidekick and announcer on the now defunct The Late Show. This was followed by a two-year stint on Entertainment Tonight for which he served as their musical feature and event correspondent, and later landed his own Emmy winning talk/variety show entitled, New York at Night. Among his various recordings are the Top Ten smash hit Playground In My Mind (My Name is Michael). $130 for prix fixe dinner & show; $65 for show only. Friday, VALENTINE'S DAY: $150 for prix fixe dinner & show.

The Tommy Igoe Big Band has a new home at YOSHI'S(1330 Fillmore Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-655-5600) on select Tuesday nights at 8:00 pm featuring 15 of the Bay Area's finest musicians!. Tommy Igoe is one of the world's most prominent drummers and bandleaders. He began drumming at the age of two and has gone on to craft a unique and diverse career traveling the world with many iconic artists, both as drummer and music director. In 1997, he created the drum book for Disney's "The Lion King," a seminal Broadway event performed in more than 50 countries around the world. During his time with the original company, he served as principal drummer and conductor. He has also created several of the world's best-selling music education titles including "Groove Essentials" and "Great Hands For A Lifetime" with the original "Groove Essentials" poster fast approaching 500,000 copies. His new Bay Area recording studio serves both as a world-class recording facility and education site for online and private sessions. For the last seven years, his Birdland Big Band has been the most popular weekly music event in New York City, maintaining a Friday residency at the legendary Birdland Jazz Club. His newest band, hand-picked from the Bay's unique world-class talent, makes its Yoshi's San Francisco debut. there is a $22 cover (see YOSHI'S website for additional dates).
