MD: BIG BAND CALIENTE: LATIN SIDE OF THE BIG BAND AT BETHESDA BLUES
Big Band Caliente, featuring drummer Marty Knepp, baritone saxophonist Mark Tabor, and trumpet player Scott Holbert, will perform on Sunday, August 25th at 8:00 pm at BETHESDA BLUES & JAZZ SUPPER CLUB (7719 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, MD - 240-330-4500). This is a very different and unique 18 piece jazz band. The musical roots of which are woven into traditional and modern jazz with a Latin twist. The band is a compilation of some of the best musicians in the Baltimore/DC area. One cannot find a more dedicated group of professionals. It is truly rare to find a group of dedicated and talented individuals that share the same passion for musical excellence and creativity. There is a $10 cover.
