CABARET TONIGHT IN BOS: GRAMMY-WINNING GUITAR LEGEND ALBERT LEE AT THE REGATTABAR
Grammy-winning guitar legend Albert Lee will perform at THE REGATTABAR at the CHARLES HOTEL (1 Bennett Street, Cambridge, MA - 617-395-7757) on Wednesday, August 28th at 7:30 pm. Lee has toured and recorded with a host of top-selling artists: Joe Cocker, Emmilylou Harris, Eric Clapton, Jackson Browne, Roseanna Cash, The Crickets, Rodney Crowell, Nanci Griffith and countless others. Albert remains an occasional member of the Crickets, and tours regularly with Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings. Albert released additional solo efforts "Heartbreak Hill" in 2003 and "Road Runner" in 2006. A summer jaunt with John Jorgenson prompted Albert to form his own US band in 2011. With several sell-out performances already behind them, the newly minted Albert Lee Band continues to entertain audiences across the USA. Albert's next big project is the 70th Birthday Celebration, a solo album, documentary and concert project celebrating his illustrious career in music. There is a $25 cover.
