CABARET TONIGHT IN NYC: WILLIE-MAE PERRY: SOMEONE TO WATCH OVER ME
Willie-Mae Perry brings her show Someone to Watch Over Me to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Friday, August 30th at 7:00 pm. A stylist, in the American Standard genre, Willie-Mae is equally comfortable singing Jazz, Broadway Show tunes, and inspiritational music. She has also worked with bassists Paul West and Lisle Atkinson, trumpeter Michael Lewis; pianist Ishmael Wallace, drummers Jackie Williams, Greg Bufford and the late Earl Williams. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
