CABARET TONIGHT IN MD: BETHESDA BLUES & JAZZ PRESENTS KING SOUL
Born of a mutual passion for the deep, down home sounds of an earlier time, eight-piece band King Soul is bringing the excitement of real Southern Soul to a new audience atBETHESDA BLUES & JAZZ SUPPER CLUB (7719 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, MD - 240-330-4500) on Friday, August 30th at 8:00 pm. Featuring original songs, powerful vocals, soaring horn work and driving rhythms, King Soul has become a top draw at area clubs and events. The members of this allstar band hold more than 30 Washington Area Music Association Wammies and Austin Music Awards to its credit. King Soul features vocalist Tom Clifford, guitarist Jake Flack, bassist Mark Noone, Arif Durrani on organ, drummer Ben Holmes, Chris Watling on saxophone, Vince McCool on trumpet, and Lyle Link. There is a $10 cover.
