Frank Hartman brings his show 'Frankly Speaking' toTHE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, August 31st at 7:00 pm. Frank Sinatra is no longer with us, but Frank Hartman has been working to help fill the void. Frank Hartman, a New Jersey roofer with a sparkling voice and style all his own, grew up loving Sinatra's stylings and has been entertaining audiences up and down the East Coast for many years by exploring the Sinatra songbook of more than 1,500 song titles. He has even come up with some not-often-heard gems to delight listeners. He'll sing a couple of songs that Sinatra never released in an album. This is not an imitation show, but you will be quick to notice the parallel qualities. The breath control, vocal quality and emotional expression are all there with his own natural phrasing. When Frank Hartman sings, you know he is singing to you alone. If there is one word to describe the man and his show, it would be class. When he steps off the stage, he leaves the audience begging for more. So get your holiday off to a great start and listen to some real old-time crooning. We know you'll enjoy the music.
