Muddy's influence was deep and unforgettable, and Cathy soon started an electric blues band of her own called the Rhythmasters, which toured extensively along the U. east coast from 1980 to 1986. She has jammed with or opened for a veritable who's who of the blues. In 1987, Cathy left the Rhythmasters to front her own band, releasing her critically-acclaimed CD Lovin' You Right.
