NYC: DONNA HAYES WITH ORDINARY MIRACLES

Donna Hayes returns to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Friday, November 7th at 7:00 pm with her newest show "Ordinary Miracles" directed by Gretchen Reinhagen with musical direction by Justin Stoney. Added to the mix for this show are Tom Hubbard on bass and Donna Kelly on drums. Donna shares her stories through songs ranging from brand new R&B, classic rock, show tunes, oldies to reggae - by artists and songwriters such as Carole King, John Legend, Stephanie Mills, Bob Marley, Coldplay, Tracy Chapman, Kander & Ebb, Phillip Phillips, and more. These are Donna's personal accounts, and the songs that remind her that the world around us is not so ordinary after all. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: BARB JUNGR: HARD RAIN AT 59E59

Barb Jungr: Hard Rain, the songs of Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, will be performed at 59E59 THEATERS (59 East 59th Street, NYC - 212-279-4200) on Tuesday through Sunday, October 28th through November 9th. Showtimes vary so please check the website - . Ms Jungr will be accompanied on piano by Tracy Stark and on percussion by Mike Lunoe. Acclaimed singer Barb Jungr continues to bring the American Songbook into the 21st Century in this new show, breathing new life into the music of Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, arguably the best folk/pop songwriters of their generation. The political and philosophical songs by these two music icons make up her hardest hitting set to date. With a song list that includes Masters of War, Hard Rain and Blowing in the Wind, Jungr's celebrated interpretations allow these songs to be heard in brand new ways. There is a $35 cover. Karen Oberlin and Sean Harkness reunite at New York's exquisite new venue: CAFE NOCTAMBULO AT PANGEA (178 Second Avenue, NYC - 212-995-0900) on Fridays & Saturdays, November 7th & 8th and 14th & 15th with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. The pair won rave reviews when they performed at 54 BELOW and THE METROPOLITAN ROOM, and now they've added some new tunes to match the great food and ambiance of this new East Village boite. NYC: JOYCE LYONS MEETS CARMEN MCRAE

Bistro Award Winning Singer Joyce Lyons will bring her show 'Joyce Lyons Meets Carmen McRae' to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Friday, November 7th at 7:00 pm. Joyce will perform an intimate conversation with the legendary lady, backed by a swinging band. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. 

NYC: RYAN SCOTT OLIVER AT THE BEECHMAN

Acclaimed composer-lyricist Ryan Scott Oliver (Jasper in Deadland, 35mm) returns to THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Friday, November 7th at 7:00 pm with an evening of songs from his dark and twisted musicals featuring a cast of Broadway, off-Broadway, and up-and-coming performers. Ryan Scott Oliver is a musical theatre composer and lyricist. He is a 2011 Lucille Lortel Award Nominee and the recipient of both the 2009 Jonathan Larson Grant and the 2008 Richard Rodgers Award for Musical Theater. Oliver is an adjunct professor at Pace University in New York, and Artistic Director of the Pasadena Musical Theatre Program in California. He received his B.A. in Music Composition from UCLA and his M.F.A. in Musical Theatre Writing from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. He is also creator of the blog Crazytown and member of A.S.C.A.P. Oliver's work has been heard at the Writers Guild Awards, Off-Broadway in TheatreWorksUSA's We the People, and countless showcases. Dallas DuBois and her merry band of drag stars put a bawdy twist on some of your favorite pop culture icons in a series of cult hit pop culture revues whicj run on alternate Fridays at 10:00 pm at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909). The group presents the Magic Kindom themed DISTORTED DIZNEE, the Great White Way tribute DISTORTED BROADWAY and the new Silver Screen inspired DISTORTED HOLLYWOOD. This trio of Las Vegas-style drag extravaganzas feature drag stars Holly Dae, Bootsie LeFaris, Pixie Aventura, Brenda Dharling, Dallas DuBois and more. NYC: JEREMY JORDAN MAKES SOLO CABARET DEBUT AT 54 BELOW

Jeremy Jordan, star of Broadway, film, and television makes his New York City solo cabaret debut at 54 BELOW(254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Friday, November 7th at 7:00 pm; and Tuesday through Thursday, November 11th through 13th at 9:30 pm. Recounting iconic and deciding moments from his budding career, Jeremy performs the songs that have defined his swift rise to stardom. Selections include music from Broadway's Newsies, NBC's "Smash," and his upcoming film The Last 5 Years, along with many of his own personal favorites. Often more comfortable on stage as a character than himself, this bright young artist steps into the solo spotlight for the very first time to tell us a bit of his own fascinating story. There is a $55-$70 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum. 

NYC: JACK O'BRIEN'S DIAMOND JUBILEE CELEBRATION

Join Jack O'Brien for a Diamond Jubilee Celebration of a life lived on and off the stage at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Friday & Saturday, November 7th & 8th at 9:30 pm. NYC: VILLAIN DEBLANKS AT 54 BELOW

It's "Clue" meets adult "Mad Libs," when 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) presents "Villain DeBlanks" on Friday, November 7th at 11:30 pm as part of the club's Late Night Series. Good news: Phillip DeBlanks is dead! He was a villain, a scoundrel and a lousy dancer. Or was he? Is it possible Phillip DeBlanks was framed by one of his circle of friends? You provide nouns, verbs, adjectives, desserts and body parts, and the cast provide the laughs - uncensored and unrehearsed - as they enact the story using words you've put in their mouths, performed by some of the funniest people in New York! Like a ride to summer camp in the back of a station wagon, each eye-watering performance is ridiculously one-of-a-kind, and, best of all, the proceeds benefit Broadway Cares. Featuring Klea Blackhurst, Nick Cearley, Bernard Dotson, Cady Huffman, Lesli Margherita and Christopher Sieber, with Heather Shisler. There is a $150$35 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.

NYC: JOHN PIZZARELLI & JESSICA MOLASKEY AT THE CAFE

The acclaimed husband-wife jazz duo of John Pizzarelli & Jessica Molaskey return to THE CAFE CARLYLE (35 East 76th Street, NYC - 212-744-1600) for a 4-week run on Tuesday, October 28th through Saturday, November 22nd at 8:45 pm, with a late show on Saturdays at 10:45 pm. Their new show is called 'Grown Up Songs' and features songs by Stephen Sondheim, Johnny Mercer, Paul McCartney, Alan Jay Lerner, Adam Guettel, Billy Joel and more. They will be joined by a band including Kevin Kanner on drums, Martin Pizzarelli on double bass and Konrad Paszkudzki on piano. As always, John Pizzarelli will play guitar. There is a $55-$185 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.
