NYC: MIDTOWN JAZZ AT MIDDAY: MARLENE VERPLANCK
MIDTOWN JAZZ AT MIDDAY continues at ST. PETER'S CHURCH - SANCTUARY(619 Lexington Avenue, NYC - 212-935-2200) every Wednesday. Midday Jazz Midtown is an ongoing jazz program for the midtown community. Concerts take place in the Sanctuary of Saint Peter's Church and are presented by Midtown Arts Common in cooperation with Saint Peter's Church. Ronny Whyte is the producer. The show on Wednesday, September 17th features Marlene VerPlanck. Throughout her career, Marlene VerPlanck has stuck to her guns, paying loving care to the great standards and new songs from our finest composers. Performances are at 1:00 pm, $10 donation.
