MELBOURNE, AU: GET A TOUCH OF CLASS WITH COLE PORTER
'You've Got That Thing!' will be presented at THE BUTTERFLY CLUB (256 Collins Street, Melbourne, VIC, AUS - TKTS: 03 9660 9666) on Tuesday through Sunday, September16th through 21st at 8:00 pm (9:00 pm on Thursday through Saturday). Celebrate the life of the 1930s musical prodigy with those who knew him best: his wife Linda (Brianna Williams), his muse Ethel Merman (Analisa Bell), and Edward, the embodied essence of all his male lovers (Mitch Roberts). Written by Izaak Lim and Nick Maclaine, 'You've Got that Thing' premiered in Perth to the delight of critics. Analisa Bell (who is producing and directing the show) has been with the production since the beginning, and is proud to partner with The Butterfly Club, giving the life of Cole Porter an ambience as charming and intimate as he was. The show is part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival . Call for cover/minimum information.
