NYC: CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE 24th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 17th
The combined STU HAMSTRA 75TH BIRTHDAY / CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE 24TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION will be held on Wednesday, September 17th at 7:00 pm at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC ). Tickets are on sale now, Tuesday, August 26th. Seating is limited.ALL TICKETS NOW $20 - GENERAL SEATING
Some tickets may be available at the door.
The theme of the show is "A Few Of My Favorite Folks". I have limited the show to just 10 performers - 2 songs each (no medleys, please).

NYC: BARRET IS BACK ON RESTAURANT ROW
Chris Barrett returns to LA RIVISTA RISTORANTE (313 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-366-4603) on Monday, May 19th, where he will be at the piano Mondays through Wednesdays. There are two shows nightly, a dinner show at 8:00 and a supper show at 10:00 pm. Chris Barrett's performances are in the tradition of the great late-night boites of a fondly remembered era, when the likes of Hugh Shannon, Bobby Short, and Buddy Barnes manned the keyboard. There is no cover charge

NYC: IRA LEE COLLINGS SINGS "OFF THE CHARTS" AT MAMA'S
Ira Lee Collings brings his show "Off the Charts" back toDON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Wednesday, September 17th at 7:00 pm; Sunday, September 21st at 3:00 pm; Wednesday, October 1st at 7:00 pm; and Sunday, October 5th at 4:00 pm. Special Guests are Stella Pulo, Mary Sue Daniels, and Sheree Sano. The show will be featuring songs such as Nothing Can Stop Me Now, Comes Once In A Lifetime, Love Is Just Around The Corner, No Matter What Happens and It's So Nice To Have A Man Around The House. After many years of Open Mic's in New York City, he took a 25-year hiatus from Show Business and re-emerged six years ago in Cabaret with his full name, Ira Lee Collings. And now at age 79, he's back with another new show. There is a $10 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
NYC: CHRISTINE EBERSOLE AT 54 BELOW
Two-time Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole will present an exciting new show to open the fall season at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) with performances on September 8th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 17th & 18th at 7:00 pm; September 10th at 9:30 pm; and September 20th at 8:00 pm. Currently starring on the hit TBS comedy series Sullivan & Son, Christine Ebersole returns to the New York nightclub scene with her first new show in two years. From pop to Broadway, and a few standards and jazz in between, the new show features Musical Director Bette Sussman (Cyndi Lauper, Bette Midler, Darlene Love, Whitney Houston) and a full band. Winner of two Tony Awards for Best Actress in a Musical (42nd Street and Grey Gardens), Christine has also starred in film (Wolf of Wall Street), television (Royal Pains) and has performed concerts in theaters and concert halls across the country, from The Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall to The Pasadena and Boston Pops. Coming home to NYC and returning to 54 Below for a full two week engagement is Christine's favorite way to kick off the fall music season. There is a $55-$75 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.
NYC: JOSHUA THEW MAKES 54 BELOW DEBUT
Joshua Thew is making his debut at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Wednesday, September 17th at 9:30 pm, but he is no stranger to the stage. A classically trained singer, and a versatile dancer, Joshua has been performing since his school days in the UK. More recently as a dancer with the New York City Ballet, Joshua has performed in a wide range of works including Jerome Robbins' West Side Story Suite, Christopher Wheeldon's Soiree Musicale, and Lynne Taylor-Corbitt's The Seven Deadly Sins alongside Patti Lupone. A soulful performer, Joshua presents an evening of heartfelt folk songs, blues and current pop favorites that reflect his experience as a young artist in New York City. Joshua confronts the realities of love and the challenges of twenty-something life with songs like "Make You Feel My Love" and "A Song For You." With guest appearances including Lisa O'Hare of A Gentleman's Guide To Love and Murder, Joshua presents a heartfelt evening that is sure to entertain and inspire. Musical Director is Simon Sharp. There is a $25-$35 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.
