In addition to touring around America, he has played extensively in England, Ireland, Scotland, Australia, Spain, Mexico and Canada ... more cities then the real Barbra! LONDON: LATE NIGHT JAZZ: PURDY AT THE CRAZY COQS

Singer/songwriter Purdy, who has just returned from Richard Branson's Necker Island where she opened for Lana Del Rey, will perform at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888 ) on Friday, September 19th at 10:30 pm as part of the club's Late Night Jazz series. She is kicking up the dust with her new album and thrilling international audiences with her distinctive, sultry vocals, playful stage presence and chillingly brilliant records. Purdy writes songs with all the swagger and poetic charm of a new age femme fatale with hints of Peggy Lee, Nancy Sinatra and Henry Mancini. Rebecca's forthcoming album Diamond in the Dust produced by Grammy Award winning producer Andy Wright (famed for his records with Imelda May & Simply Red) is already being championed by London Radio and BBC 6 Music. Purdy's music has impressed some major audiences, including 90,000 people at Wembley, packed houses at London's premier venues including Formula 1 events and The London Lifestyle Awards and she has also sung for the likes of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, Mick Jagger and many more.
