NYC: BROADWAY SINGS AT THE WEST END - NOW ON MONDAYS!!
The Open mic night hosted by Sarah Rice & Craig Pomranz on Thursdays on the Upper West Side has changed it's shownight! BROADWAY SINGS AT THE WEST END will now be held every MONDAY night,at THE WEST END(955 West End Avenue, NYC - 212-531-4759) from 7:00 to 9:00 pm (signup after 6:30 pm). An open mic with multi-award winning hosts Sarah and Craig bring the ultimate New York experience to the Upper West Side with all kinds of talent singing all genres of music -Broadway, Pop, Jazz, Classical, all are welcomed. There is a $7 cover - no minimum.

NYC: BARRET IS BACK ON RESTAURANT ROW
Chris Barrett returns to LA RIVISTA RISTORANTE (313 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-366-4603) on Monday, May 19th, where he will be at the piano Mondays through Wednesdays. There are two shows nightly, a dinner show at 8:00 and a supper show at 10:00 pm. Chris Barrett's performances are in the tradition of the great late-night boites of a fondly remembered era, when the likes of Hugh Shannon, Bobby Short, and Buddy Barnes manned the keyboard. There is no cover charge.

The second of there special MUSICAL MONDAYS events, produced by CCP (Chicago Cabaret Professionals )will take place on Monday, September 22nd at 7:30 pm at VICTORY GARDENS BIOGRAPH THEATER(2433 North Lincoln Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-871-3000 ). "Feelin' Groovy: Songs of a New Generation" features some of Chicago's finest cabaret performers led by musical director Beckie Menzie and director Laura Freeman. Performers include John Michael Coppolla, Laura Freeman, Beckie Menzie, Tom Michael, Marianne Murphy Orland, Tom Orland, With a Twist (Paul Motondo, Kevin Bishop, Steve Kimbrough and Nick Sula) and Melissa Young. A talented student will also perform. Tickets are $30 through the Victory Gardens Box Office at 773-871-3000 or tickets@victorygardens.org . The first show, in July, was completely sold out.
