MATINEE CABARET TODAY IN NYC: SALLY & DAVID SAYH AT THE METROPOLITAN
Sally & David Sayh will perform at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ) on Sunday, June 22nd at 4:00 pm. Sally Sayh is a native Californian who's been singing since childhood. Encouraged by friends and family to take the plunge, she made a seamless transition to singing professionally several years ago. She has been working in nightclubs and theaters in Florida for the past few years and is now expanding her horizons to major markets and venues. Her husband David Sayh, has been performing stand-up comedy for over thirty years with numerous television appearances on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson as well as Merv Griffin, Mike Douglas and Dinah Shore. Including engagements at Carnegie Hall and the Beacon Theatre, his tasteful, reality based style is poignant, touching and universal in its appeal. A native of New York, he reminisces about commonly shared experiences while growing up, attending public school and coping with the vicissitudes of life in The Bronx.
