LONDON: CHARLIE BICKNELL AT CRAZY COQS

Charlie Bicknell will perform atTHE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888 - ) on Monday, June 23rd at 8:00 pm featuring the outstanding and unusually funny operatic diva Louise Innes, the indispensible David Harrod and Jamie Fisher. Charlie is a force to be reckoned with; dynamic, witty and tempestuous. In an evening of darkly comic, twisted songs and shockingly stark, black humour, she delivers a funny and deeply moving set of songs ranging from original material to that by Tim Minchin, Dresden Dolls, Corky & the Juice Pigs and Jacques Brel. Charlie Bicknell trained as an actress, appearing in leading roles in London's West End, The Royal National Theatre, Chichester and many other theatres, and as 'Delilah' in BBC2's cult TV series This Life, among many other TV and film roles. She morphed into a cabaret singer after playing the role of such a character and stuck with it. Charlie has since performed all over the world. Charlie is also one of the only singing aerialists in the UK. Call for cover/minimum information.
