NYC: ROBIN'S NEST, NEW BENEFIT SERIES HOSTED BY ROBIN WESTLE

Robin's Nest, a benefit series to support HelpUsAdopt.org, will debut on Monday, June 9th at 7:00 pm at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909). This new series, dedicated to building families, one song at a time, will be hosted by cabaret maven Robin Westle, with musical direction by Jeff Cubeta. The premiere performance of Robin's Nest will feature the musical talents of Carly Bracco (national tour of Peter Pan), Eric Michael Gillett (Broadway's Sweet Smell of Success/ Kiss Me, Kate/ The Frogs), LaTanya Hall (national tour of Dreamgirls, City Center Encores Promises, Promises, MSG Christmas Carol), Carolyn Montgomery-Forant (Dirty Little Songs, The Amanda McBroom Project, international concert artist), and Leah Jennings (national tour of The Unsinkable Molly Brown-title role), and the entire evening will be under the direction of award-winning director Eric Michael Gillett. HelpUsAdopt.org is a national non-profit 501(c)(3) financial assistance grant program providing qualified couples and individuals - regardless of race, ethnicity, marital status, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability - with grants of up to $15,000 towards their domestic, international, foster, or special needs adoption expenses. There is a $20 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.

NYC: BARRET IS BACK ON RESTAURANT ROW

Chris Barrett returns to LA RIVISTA RISTORANTE (313 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-366-4603) on Monday, May 19th, where he will be at the piano Mondays through Wednesdays. There are two shows nightly, a dinner show at 8:00 and a supper show at 10:00 pm. Chris Barrett's performances are in the tradition of the great late-night boites of a fondly remembered era, when the likes of Hugh Shannon, Bobby Short, and Buddy Barnes manned the keyboard. There is no cover charge.

NYC: MISS PEGGY EASON WITH "I'LL SHOW THEM ALL!"

Peggy Eason, known on the cabaret scene since 2009, is once again bringing a show to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788). Her show "I'll Show Them All!" will be presented on Monday, June 9th and Sunday, June 15th, both shows at 7:00 pm. She will be accompanied by Steven Ray Watkins at the piano. Lennie Watts directs. Miss Eason, blind since birth, has never let that interrupt her work or life. She has had an illustrious and varied career. She grew up in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and Mount Vernon, New York. An accomplished vocalist, Miss Eason is classically trained and began singing professionally from a very young age. She earned her Master's Degree in Voice and Music Education from the Manhattan School of Music, and pursued a career early on as a lyric soprano, singing in churches, at corporate and private events while working for the Division of Parole for the State of New York. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: BILLY TERRELL: FROM THE BRILL TO THE BRINK AND BACK!

Billy Terrell will perform his show 'From The Brill To The Brink And Back!' atSTAGE 72 (158 West 72nd Street, NYC - 212-362-2590) on Monday, June 9th at 7:00 pm. The show is an emotionally uplifting autobiographical program with music and anecdotes that chronicles the chapters of Mr. Terrell's life as a songwriter during the heydays of the Brill Building in New York, music producer, stand-up comedian and decorated Vietnam War veteran. It also reveals his deeply personal experiences at Mang Lang Orphanage, which as a soldier, he helped re-build in Tuy Hoa, Vietnam. The orphanage still operates, and during a recent return trip there Billy was briefly reunited with the nun who ran the orphanage in 1966, as well as with several disabled adults who were children at that time. Footage from the reunion and personal interviews will be featured in the upcoming 2-hour documentary series on PBS, "The Other Side of War." Billy recently celebrated his 50th year in the music industry. He has also toured as a stand-up comic for the past 28 years. Proceeds from this performance will help defray pre-production costs for the documentary series, which is targeted to air on PBS in November, 2015 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the official end of the Vietnam conflict. NYC: DINE & DANCE WITH VINCE GIORDANO AND THE NIGHTHAWKS - NOW AT THE IGUANA

Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks are back - and now will play every Monday & Tuesday night from 8:00 to 11:00 pm at at IGUANA'S VIP LOUNGE (240 West 54th Street, NYC - 212-765-5454). Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks is an eleven-piece band playing music of the 1920s & 30s for your dining and dancing pleasure. In 1976 Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks (originally known as the New Orleans Nighthawks) was formed. A big-band historian and collector, Giordano has more than 60,000 scores in his collection. There is a $15 cover (at the door) plus a $15 food drink minimum.
