LONDON: MISS HOPE SPRINGS SWINGS AT SERGIO'S ON SUNDAYS

Continuing the success of her 2 year long sold outrave-review Sunday residency at The Crazy Coqs, Piccadilly, ex-Vegas showgirl turned nightclub chanteuse Miss Hope Springs has gone all 'La Dolce Vita' and is moving her acclaimed show, lock, stock and sequinned barrel for a limited season starting on Sunday, May 18th at 8:00 pm to DOWNSTAIRS AT SERGIOS (84 Great Titchfield St, London W1W 7QY - 0207 436 7301), the fabulous family run Italian restaurant and cabaret room on Great Titchfield Street. Sergio's has always been something of a glamorous nightspot. It was The Paint Box (a restaurant bedecked with scantily clad life models where you could explorethe pleasures of expressing yourself in paint while you ate) and at one time an underground drag bar. The award winning entertainer sings her glittering repertoire of all original cabaret, jazz, pop and musical theatre songs at the piano with her top notch comboon percussion and double bass. Call for cover/minimum information.

LONDON: JOHN STANDING - MONTHLY AT CRAZY COQS

John Standing is one of our leading actors, having starred in the West End and on Broadway as well as plays written by some of the world's foremost writers including Shaw, Wilde, Farquhar, Coward, Stoppard and Grey. John finds singing the songs of the greatest American songwriters of his time and his great British contemporaries is something of a Bon Bouche. He is accompanied by Will Stuart on piano and Hattie Scott on bass. Call for cover/minimum information.
