MATINEE CABARET TODAY - NYC: SHEET MUSIC SOCIETY "KATHRYN ALLYN AND FRANK PONZIO:  PLAYING HARD TO GET"
THE NEW YORK SHEET MUSIC SOCIETY , established in 1980, continues it's 2012-2013 Season on Saturday, February 8th atLOCAL 802 MUSICIANS' HALL (322 West 48th Street, NYC) with "Kathryn Allyn and Frank Ponzio: Playing Hard to Get" - a set of the unknown, neglected gems of Jo Stafford, Julia Lee, Billy Holiday and Betty Hutton. The event opens at 12:30 pm with a flea market where you can buy and/or trade sheet music and memorabilia. The show runs from 2:00 to 3:30 pm. You can join the society online athttp://www.nysms.org/ for only $50 per year, entitling you to nine fabulous programs/meetings and nine lively newsletters from October through June. Non-member guest fee is $10.
