CABARET TONIGHT IN LOS ANGELES: MARY BOND DAVIS AT THE GARDENIA
Mary Bond Davis is excited to return to THE GARDENIA(7066 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA - 323-467-7444) on Wednesday, February 5th at 9:00 pm. This is the club where she made her last nightclub appearance over 20 years ago - before appearing as "Miss Mamie" in the original Broadway production of Jelly's Last Jam. Ms. Davis first came to the awareness of Los Angeles audiences when she appeared in the 99-seat Equity Waiver Harold Arlen musical revue, Get Happy, directed and choreographed by the late, great Tony Stevens. She has since accumulated numerous film, television, stage, and commercial credits, including the latest role she originated on Broadway: "Motormouth Maybelle" in Hairspray.
