Kritzerland Upstairs at Sterling's presents "At The Movies" on Sunday, February 2nd at 7:00 pm atSTERLING'S AT THE FEDERAL(5303 Lankershim Boulevard, North Hollywood, CA - 818-754-8700), As always, the cast includes some of the best voices in town, including Brennley Brown, Emma Degerstedt, Dennis Kyle, Lisa Livesay, John Sloman and Shannon Warne with Music Director Shelly Markham. Special guests are Andrea Marcovicci, and an Oscar-winning songwriter, Richard M. Sherman. It's Oscar time, and the 42nd Kritzerland show, Kritzerland at the Movies, pays tribute to some of the greatest songs ever written for the movies. From Oscar-winners, to songs from musicals written especially for the screen, to some you probably won't be familiar with (it's a Kritzerland show, after all), you'll hear songs by Henry Mancini and Johnny Mercer, Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg, Marvin Hamlisch, Jerome Kern and Dorothy Fields, Sammy Cahn and James Van Heusen, Dimitri Tiomkin, Burt Bacharach, Randy Newman, Mel Brooks, David Shire, Michel Legrand and more.
