TODAY'S CABARET PICK - NYC: MOLLY POPE, OKAY?

Critically acclaimed neo-retro cabarettist Molly Pope spends an intimate evening with you and the music at
THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Thursday, January 23rd at 7:00 pm with her show 'Molly Pope, Okay?'. Molly plays it fast and loose with a new set list of eclectic songs and madcap antics. Juxtaposing the heyday of mid-century New York City cabaret with a downtown modern sensibility, she tackles material spanning the 20th century with her signature old-school style. She is joined on piano by the brilliant Brian J. Nash. Molly Pope is a critically acclaimed cabarettist/actor whose shows have played Joe's Pub, Feinstein's at Loews Regency, Ars Nova, The Laurie Beechman Theater and the Adelaide Cabaret Festival in Australia. She was a regular cast member in the hit downtown variety show Our Hit Parade at Joe's Pub and is a frequent guest at the award-winning The Meeting* with Justin Sayre. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
