West End and TV star Peter Polycarpou brings his show 'LAUGH AND BE HAPPY: The Songs and Music of Randy Newman' to THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Monday, January 20th at 8:00 pm. The show songs and a few stories connected with Randy and his compositional style. One of Randy's greatest achievements is that by his own admission his 'limited' voice has given artists of international repute, great songs to sing. His is a timeless writing with an open, inclusive and humanist palette. Peter Polycarpou has played leading roles in some of the greatest musicals of our time, including The Phantom in Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom Of The Opera, John in the original Miss Saigon company, Thenardier in Les Miserables, Beadle Bamford in the five-time Olivier Award winning production of Sweeney Todd at The Adelphi in 2012 and Ali Hakim in Trevor Nunn's BAFTA award winning production of Oklahoma! On TV he appeared in Birds Of A Feather, Waking The Dead, The Bill, Casualty, Holby City and EastEnders.
