TODAY'S CHICAGO CABARET PICK: JIMMY DAMON TRIBUTE SHOW WITH STARS FROM CHICAGO CABARET
A talented cast of musical entertainers, civic and media leaders will present joyful, heartfelt tribute to singer and citizen extraordinare, Jimmy Damon on Sunday, July 28th a 2:00 pm at THE CHICAGO HISTORY MUSEUM (1601 North Clark St, Chicago, IL). A proclamation for Jimmy from City Council will be presented by Alderman Ed Burke to the Damon family. An original song written about Jimmy at his request will be debuted and all attendees will receive a special souvenir of the day. Featured in the case are Jack D'Amico, Anne and Mark Burnell, Merri Dee, Carla Gordon, Dick Judson, Alan Kaye, Nan Mason, Beckie Menzie, Audrey Morris, Bob Moreen, Denise Tomasello, Milt Trenier, and more. All proceeds benefit the Jimmy Damon Tribute Fund Scholarship at Columbia College. The Chicago History Museum has graciously invited all audience members to visit the museum following the show.
