Randie Levine-Miller will present Broadway Showstopper Divas "A Swell Party" at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Sunday, April 14th at 7:00 pm. The show will benefit THE ACTORS FUND. The evening's theme is "The Vets and the Yets!" The "vets" are Anita Gillette (Tony nominated) Broadway star; Jackie Hoffman, the hilarious Broadway actress/singer and cabaret comedienne; and Jan Maxwell, multiple award winning (Tony Award Nominated) Broadway star ("Follies," "The Royal Family," "Lend Me A Tenor"). The "yets" are Nora Menken, making her cabaret debut, who recently got her BFA in Musical Theater at the University of Michigan and has appeared in "A Christmas Carol" at Madison Square Garden, as well as concerts and recordings. She comes from show business royalty! Gabrielle Stravelli is a critically acclaimed vocalist who most recently performed in "Lyrics & Lyricists" Tribute to the songs of Peggy Lee at the 92nd Street Y. Michael Lavine, Music Director is a much in demand pianist, vocal coach and performer; as well as the go-to person for not easy to find sheet music.
