NYC: CARLY OZARD BRINGS FREDDIE MERCURY TRIBUTE TO THE IRIDIUM TUESDAY
After sold-out performances in New York City and her hometown of San Francisco, critically acclaimed comedic cabaret artist and musical theater singer Carly Ozard brings her smash cabaret show Somebody to Love: My Musical Tribute to Freddie Mercury to New York City's jazz institution IRIDIUM JAZZ CLUB(1650 Broadway, NYC - 212-582-2121 - ) on Tuesday, April 16th with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. Carly Ozard will be "Queen" for a day, paying homage to her musical idol Freddie Mercury and sharing little-known facts about Mercury's public and personal life. Ms. Ozard's cabaret show showcases popular and rarely heard songs from Queen's extensive repertoire, as well as solo work written by Mercury without Queen. The show is directed by Barry Kleinbort, with musical director Steven Ray Watkins on piano and conducting the band.
