MW: BOB MOREEN IN "I WON'T DANCE: THE SONGS OF FRED ASTAIRE"

Pianist/singer Bob Moreen brings his show "I Won't Dance: The Songs of Fred Astaire" to THE OIL LAMP THEATER ( 1723 Glenview Road, Glenview, IL - 847-834-0738) on Wednesday, April 17th at 1:30 pm. A second performance is scheduled for May 15th at 1:30 pm. In his critically acclaimed show Moreen performs a collection of songs introduced and made famous by the master dancer/singer Fred Astaire. Moreen has been featured in virtually every type of entertainment venue as soloist, accompanist and ensemble member. He has worked with name entertainers such as, including Ann Margret, Peter Palmer, Greta Keller, Dorothy Collins, the Incomparable Hildegarde, and Shirley Jones. Bob's theatrical credits include work at Chicago's Goodman Theatre, University of Illinois/Chicago Circle Theater, and the former Body Politic. Bob is sought after as music director, accompanist and coach by Chicago's favorite cabaret singers and song workshops. He was musical director of citywide choral performances for the Chicago Department of Aging "Encore Chicago" concerts. He teaches privately, specializing in vocal interpretation and style development. Call for cover/minimum information.
