NYC: JOHN & MARY AT 2ND FLOOR ON CLINTON TONIGHT!
John DiPinto and Mary Foster Conklin will present DOWN FOR DOUBLE, an evening of duets with an occasional solo, at 2ND FLOOR ON CLINTON (67 Clinton Street, NYC - ) on Tuesday, April 16th from 7:00 to 9:30 pm. They'll be doing some of their favorite cool arrangements of the Beatles, Bacharach & David, the Foo Fighters, Fran Landesman, Bob Dorough, the Bobs, Smokey Robinson, Jon Hendricks/Count Basie and more. Tony Romano is on guitar, Skip Ward will be on bass. John DiPinto and Mary Foster Conklin have appeared onstage together in various guises for the last twenty years. They began to experiment with vocal duets several years ago at the Caffe Vivaldi and The Metropolitan Room and perform regularly on various fire escapes as The Lady in the Red Dress and The Man in the Hat with the Renegade Cabaret. There is a $25 cover - space is limited.
