CELEBRATING MARCH IS CABARET MONTH
Pianist/singer Ms. Jo Thompson, will debut her new show "Slender, Tender and Tall: An Evening with The Fabulous Ms. Jo Thompson" at THE CAFE CARLYLE (35 East 76th Street, NYC - 212-744-1600) on Thursday through Saturday, March 21st, 22nd & 23rd and Thursday, March 29th and Saturday, March 30th, all shows at 10:45 pm. Ms. Thompson - a timeless, knockout beauty of 80+ - plays piano and vamps, purrs and romps her way through jazz and standards from the 1930s through the present, along with her own original material. Ms. Jo Thompson is one of a handful of working performers with first hand memories of engagements at Sans Souci in pre-Castro Cuba, Cafe Society in New York, the Stork Room in London and many other glamorous and historic post-swing venues from Beverly Hills to Paris.
