NYC: CARUSO & STRITCH RETURN TO BEMELMANS BAR AT THE CARLYLE
CELEBRATING MARCH IS CABARET MONTH
Jim Caruso & Billy Stritch return toBEMELMAN'S BAR at the CARLYLE(35 East 76th Street, NYC - 212-570-7189) with an evening of swinging standards every Sunday in March, from 9:00 pm to midnight, starting on March 10th. The two performers, who have performed extensively on their own, gained national exposure together as the host and musical director of the wildly popular open mic, Cast Party, which celebrates talent every Monday at Birdland in NYC, and tours nationally. During their November 2012 run at Bemelmans, the duo received critical acclaim, and made news when rock legend Bono joined them in an impromptu performance. In this Carlyle run, Caruso and Stritch will be joined by bassist Steve Doyle. There is a $15-$25 cover. No reservations taken.
