CELEBRATING MARCH IS CABARET MONTH
Jazz vocalist Jackie Ryan performs at YOSHI'S OAKLAND (510 Embarcadero West, Jack London Square, Oakland, CA - 510-238-9200 - ) on Sunday, March 24th with shows at 6:00 & 8:00 pm. Jackie has thrilled audiences across the globe with her powerful 3 octave range and her warm, audience-friendly stage presence. She has a style that is uniquely her own. Jackie's newest CD, LISTEN HERE, featuring John & Gerald Clayton and a top cast of young sidemen, was released January 22. Jackie's shows include songs from gospel and blues to Brazilian bossa novas. From Latin to bebop, from vocalese to the most heartfelt ballads. Joining Jackie on stage are Mike O'Neill - saxophones, Erik Jekabson - trumpet, Larry Dunlap - piano, Gary Brown - bass and Lorca Hart - drums. There is an $18 cover.
