NYC: TINE BRUHN & JOHNNY O'NEAL, NEARNESS CD RELEASE SHOW
CELEBRATING MARCH IS CABARET MONTH
Tine Bruhn (Vocals) & Johnny O'neal (Piano) present a CD release show at ZINC BAR (82 West 3rd Street, NYC - 212-477-9462) on Monday, March 25th at 9:00 pm. Tine Bruhn's new release, Nearness, is a duo recording of standards with pianist Johnny O'Neal. They started working together in the summer of 2011 when her regular pianist had to cancel on short notice and sent Johnny O'Neal as a sub! Since then they have appeared almost weekly at Robert Restaurant in NYC. Nearness is a natural documentation of the musical relationship between these Tine and Johnny. Tenor saxophonist Stacy Dillard is featured on the album, and will be part this set. Call for cover/minimum information.
