NYC: BENDING THREADS PRESENTS LEGENDS AT THE UNDERGROUND THEATRE
The vocal group Bending Threads presents its sizzling new show, LEGENDS at THE UNDERGROUND THEATRE (955 West End Avenue, NYC - 212-531-4759) on Saturday, June 1st at 7:30 pm and Sunday, June 2nd at 3:00 pm. The show features the music made popular by Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, Lena Horne and Billie Holiday - the classic jazz legends of the 20th century. Bending Threads is an innovative collective consisting of four artists (Kareen Foster, Patrice Bell, Rejinald Woods & Westley Todd Holiday) in pursuit of a new vision for cabaret. Through live musical performance themed with African-American literature they create an atmosphere to entertain, educate and inspire audiences. There is a $15 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
