NYC: JUDY AND LIZA TOGETHER AGAIN AT MAMA'S
Cabaret favorites Tommy Femia and Rick Skye have teamed up for another evening of "Judy and Liza Together Again" at
DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Saturday, February 20th at 8:00 pm. They are joined by Ricky Ritzel (as Mort) at the piano. These MAC Award winning performers (Best Impersonation) will pull out all the stops, singing classic solo's, parodies, duets and just plain whooping and hollering by the greatest mother/ daughter team in show biz history. Tommy Femia is a 7 time winner of the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC) Award for his brilliant portrayal of Judy Garland in "Judy Garland LIVE!", now in it's 20th season at Don't Tell Mama. He has also starred in "Whoop-de-doo", "I Will Come Back" and, most recently, "Norma Does Men". Rick Skye is best known for writing a string of outrageous comic revues including "The Flip Side of Neil Sedaka", "MaCabaret - a tabloid fable", "The War of the Mama Roses", "It's Madame with an E" and the International hit - "A Slice O' Minnelli" for which has enjoyed successful season's in Covent Garden, at the Apollo Theatre in London's West End and at the Dublin Theatre Festival where he received the Award for "Best Achievement in Performance". Julie D'Moure will bring her show 'Then There's Me' to
THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Saturday, February 21st at 7:00 pm. Julie has been singing up a storm in Brooklyn and Manhattan for four years. Born and raised in Massachusetts, she earned her B.A. in Theatre from Gordon College, and worked professionally in Massachusetts for a few years before moving to NYC to try her luck here. Her love of musical theatre was instilled in her by her mother from a very young age in the form of Rodgers and Hammerstein records, and her refusal to do anything that anyone else might also be doing comes from her father and older sister. So with her strange puritan grit, her mix of conservative and rebellion, comes this collection of songs, straight from her tough, nerdy little heart. There is a $10 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: STING*CHRONICITY WITH ROSEMARY LOAR
STING*chronicity, with Rosemary Loar will be presented at
THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, February 21st, Sunday, March 8th and Thursday, April 2nd. All shows are at 7:00 pm. The show offers a combination of monologues with a variety of musical arrangements of the music of the contemporary songwriter, Sting. The show is "set" in Madison Square Garden on the occasion of the final reunion concert of the iconic band, The Police, which was headed by Sting. STING*chronicity surveys the diverse audience, and their very varied interpretations of his music as the words of his songs are filtered by their unique lives and experiences. The show includes many of Sting's most popular and including "Message In A Bottle", "Moon Over Bourbon Street," "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic," "Roxanne," "Every Breath You Take." as well as some lesser known songs, like "Ghost Story," a song from Sting's Broadway show, The Last Ship. Monologues were provided by some of New York's most impressive playwrights: Diana Amsterdam, Mike Folie, Matt Hoverman, Cheryl Stern, Robert W. Atwood and Rosemary Loar, plus a charming offering from 13 year old Mia Katz. Loar conceived, directed and starred in the popularThe Alternative Torch series at Symphony Space from 2004-2006. As a recording artist, she can be heard on Sting's soundtrack for the movie The Emperor's New Groove, the cast albums of Chess and Sunset Boulevard and on The Listening Library Series. Last year she release of her sixth album, When Harry Met The Duke, a tribute to Duke Ellington and Harold Arlen. Barry Kleinbort who recently received rave reviews for directing John Epperson: Show Trash off-Broadway is at the director's helm. Renowned jazz artist/pianist and arranger Frank Ponzio will serve as musical director and will be joined by jazz bassist Tom Hubbard. Ms. Loar's extensive musical theater credits include a critically acclaimed turn as Grizabella in Cats, Sunset Boulevard (with Glenn Close), The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (with John Larroquette in L.A. and Shuler Hensley at Madison Square Garden), You Can't Take It With You, and Chess, as well as Once Upon A Mattress with Sarah Jessica Parker. Since 1965, guitarist Frank DiBussolo has been gracing concert halls and studios alike with his technical proficiency and smooth, emotionally astute style across the fretboard throughout a fortuitous career that includes collaborations and appearances with such greats as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and Dizzy Gillespie. The eight-time Grammy-nominated artist has also developed a wide reputation as an expert educator with a genuine interest in the up-and-comers of the jazz world. Thus the Frank DiBussolo Group was born. Hailing from Allentown, Pennsylvania, the band's members share a likeminded vision for cutting across generation gaps, proving those gaps arbitrary in the process by turning the tried and true into freshness incarnate. RuPaul's Drag Race and RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars alum Tammie Brown returns to

Tammie Brown is a gay American singer, actor and drag performer, perhaps best known for his appearance as a contestant on RuPaul's Drag Race, Season 1 and RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars. Currently, he is a fixture in the Southern California Drag scene. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, Tammie started his auspicious career performing as Cha Cha in the musical "Grease," and as the Wicked Stepmother in "Into the Woods." He first started performing drag at Club Divas in Corpus Christi, Texas. In the early 2000's he made an appearance as Tammie Brown on "The Surreal Life" with Tammy Faye Messner and as himself on "How Clean is Your House?". As Keith Glen Schubert, he has appeared in commercials for McDonalds and UPS and for Korn's music video " Twisted Transistor." As Tammie Brown, he has appeared in Robbie William's music video "She's Madonna" and Crazy Lupe's "Mm Ma Ma." In March 2009, Tammie released his first, album "Popcorn" on Itunes. On the New York stage, besides earning 4 Tony nominations for Best Actress, Ms. Feldshuh won four Drama Desk Awards, four Outer Critics Circle Awards, the Obie, the Theatre World Award, and the Lucille Lortel Award for Best Actress in Golda's Balcony. On the West Coast she received the San Diego's Theatre Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Performance in a Touring Show for Golda's Balcony as well and two Drama Logue awards for her Juliet and her first one woman show: Tovah: A Rush Hour Revue! Most recently, Tovah stopped the show as the trapeze-swinging Berthe in the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Pippin.
