NYC TONIGHT: EMILY DANGER AT THE METROPOLITAN ROOM
The dark cabaret rock sensation EMILY DANGER make their THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ) debut on Monday, May 27th at 7:00 pm, with the premiere of "A Delicate Disaster". Emily Danger anxiously returns to its theatrical roots for this unique show at The Metropolitan Room where they will perform both original songs and favorite show-tunes arranged in their signature style. EMILY DANGER combines haunting melodies and vulnerable lyrics with dark, orchestral arrangements. The band re-defines indie rock with classical influences and theatrical flair. Operatically trained lead singer Emily Nicholas' voice has been compared to Jeff Buckley and Fiona Apple. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
