NYC TONIGHT: THE POP SHOW PRESENTS THE SINGS OF ELTON JOHN
The Broadway at Birdland concert series is proud to announce the premiere of The Pop Show, their newest monthly event, on Monday, May 27th at 7:00 pm at BIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-581-3080). Hosted by Jim Caruso, the night will feature Elton John's soul-searching ballads, the most rockin' uptempos and everything in between. Scheduled performers include Tony Award winner Len Cariou, Natalie Douglas, Van Hughes, Christopher Jackson, Kyle Dean Massey, Leslie McDonel, Jarrod Spector and Daniel Quadrino, with additional names to be announced. Proceeds will benefit The Trevor Project, an organization focused on suicide prevention in the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning communities. There is a $30-$35 cover plus a $10 food/drink minimum.
