SAN FRANCISCO. CA: SEX AND THE CITY LIVE! AT THE OASIS
OASIS (298 11th Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-795-3180), San Francisco's hottest new nightclub and cabaret theater, is presenting the hit show Sex and the City LIVE! this summer! Sex and the City LIVE! features the same team behind the sold-out runs from the past four years in San Francisco. Sex and the City LIVE! will run Thursdays through Saturdays, June 4th through July 3rd at 7:00 pm. Sex and the City LIVE! is a send up of the ground-breaking series that ran on HBO from 1998 through 2004. Each performance features two popular episodes, each tackling modern social issues including sexuality, sexually transmitted diseases, safe sex, promiscuity, femininity, and of course, shoes - while exploring the complex differences between lasting friendships and true relationships. Directed by D'Arcy Drollinger with costumes by Tria, Sex and the City LIVE! features some of San Francisco's most prominent drag performers including Sue Casa as Carrie Bradshaw, D'Arcy Drollinger as Samantha Jones, Lady Bear as Miranda Hobbs and Hannukah•Lewinsky as Charlotte York. Rounding out the cast are: Adam Roy, L. Ron Hubby, Jordan Wheeler, and Manuel Canari. There is a $25-$30 cover. With a degree in music education from Oklahoma State University, she inspired young minds for several years, only to return to her true calling: cabaret-style singing. Playing the audience as skillfully as she plays piano and guitar, Carol weaves an eclectic mix of torch songs, Broadway and standards into an evening of fun repartee. No cover charge.

Never afraid to push the jokes, Kit and McConnel poke fun at everyday events and modern cultural happenings, whilst also including a few serious numbers. The renowned restaurant critic, Masterchef judge and sometime jazz pianist Jay Rayner returns to
THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL(20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Saturdays, July 4th & 11th at 10:30 pm with The Jay Rayner Quartet: Hungry Jazz, an ensemble of top flight musicians performing ninety minutes of tunes from the Great American food and drink songbook as part of the club's Late Night Jazz Series. There will be standards from the likes of Johnny Mercer, Harold Arlen, Blossom Dearie and Dave Frishberg, alongside anecdotes from his life eating out on somebody else's dime. Jay will also share stories about growing up with a mother, Claire Rayner, who was a sex advice columnist.
