NYC TONIGHT: SARAH KIMBALL IN "BLUE" AT THE MET
Sarah Kimball's "Blue," a new cabaret show, will be presented at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Wednesday, May 29th at 9:30 pm. This show grew from Sarah's love of the Joni Mitchell song and album of the same name. With the help of director Lina Koutrakos, and musical director, Rick Jensen & bass player, Tom Hubbard, and through the music of Mitchell, Elton John, Annie Lennox, Leonard Cohen, Toots Thielemans, and others, Sarah will weave an intricate spell of blue smoke and thunder, of balmy breezes and dazzling vistas, exploring the deepest of blues to the brightest of skies. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
