DETAILS ON GETTING ITEMS INCLUDED AT WWW.CABARETHOTLINEONLINE.COM

Nearly 75 new subscribers signed up to receive the free, twice-weekly CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE newsletters in the past week, and I need to explain once again how this all works. You send in your news items (in text format - a flier is not a press release) and I include them in the next newsletter where it fits, by date. I try to work in news for a least 3 weeks ahead. Items appear just once. All items get added to the DIARY/DATEBOOK section of the website in date order, where they stay until the date of the last performance listed in the item - moving to the front page on the website the day of the event.

Exceptions are those events running ads and banners, which appear in every issue, twice a week, while the ad is running. And on Thursdays, we include all events offering discounts to members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE. Benefits, cabaret organization events and cabaret "festival" events are also included in every issue in the weeks leading up to the event. Because of the length of issues of late, we are considering just including these in the Monday issues.

"Broadway By The Year - 1948" At THE TOWN HALL - March 22nd

I received a press release over the weekend from THE TOWN HALL (123 West 43rd Street, NYC - 212-997-1929 - ) about the next "Broadway By The Year" show, which will be Monday night, March 22nd at 8:00 pm, at (naturally) THE TOWN HALL. See listings below for details, but I must add that the the first show of the series in February was fantastic! Top talent - top performances! One of these days I am going to "hit the wall" proclaiming each show "the best show yet", but the February one truly deserved the plaudit. The TOWN HALL (1500 seats) was very nearly sold out, so if you're planning on going to the show on the 22nd, get thee to a phone/computer and order your tickets pronto. Melissa Manchester is the featured guest star, and the year celebrated is 1948.

CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE BANNER AD SALE ANNOUNCED

Big announcement today is our special CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE APRIL-MAY banner sale! We're offering a 25% discount off of all banner prices (does not include side-bar ads) for all banners running for the 8 weeks between April 4th and May 29th - if your ad run starts before or after those dates, those weeks will be charged at the regular rate. This is our biggest discount offer ever! Its a great deal if you want to get your name in front of MAC voters during the month of April (the final MAC sballots go out on March 27th).

And GOLD members get the discount in addition to their usual 20% discount for all banners run in a membership year! That's 45% off! (50% off if you use PayPal - see next paragraph.) SILVER members who have not yet run a banner this membership year get a $20 rebate applied to the cost.

You may pay using PayPal (and get an additional 5% discount if the net total is more than $100) or pay by check - as long as your payment is here before the banner is set to start its run. Do not send payment until we confirm your space is available.

Some restrictions apply: Banner must run at least 3 weeks continuous. Banner MUST be paid for in advance in full. The number of banners is limited each week so it would be prudent to place your order as soon as possible - and your order is not considered "booked" until payment is actually received. We will notify you at once if all slots are filled under this deal.

This discount offer is open to ALL, not just for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE. Just let me know: what weeks you want the banner to run and what size banner you wish to run. If your weeks are available, I'll send you an invoice which you can use to pay using PayPal or print out and send with your check.
