TONIGHT NYC: WRITE NOW: THE MUSIC OF MICHAEL MOTT
Write Now: The Music of Michael Mott will be presented at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Sunday, May 12th, with performances at 7:00 & 9:30 pm. It promises to be an eclectic evening of soaring ballads, quirky comedy numbers and catchy pop tunes by Michael Mott, starring some of Broadway's best and brightest talents. The concert will feature songs from Michael's musicals FAUSTUS and THE LIFE OF A MOB WIFE, as well as several stand alone pop, jazz and swing songs. Featured in the cast are Ben Fankhauser (Newsies), Michael Hunsaker, Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, NBC's "Smash), Marissa McGowan (A Little Night Music, Bonnie & Clyde), Jacqueline Petroccia, and Ashley Spencer (Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Rock of Ages). Directed by Brandon Ivie the show features Musical direction by Jeff Theiss. Produced by Shoshana Feinstein. There is a $20 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
