TONIGHT - DC: LADY K WITH GOSPEL AND SOUL AT BLUES ALLEY
Lady K will perform on Monday, May 13th at BLUES ALLEY (1073 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington, DC - 202-337-4141) with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. Lady K is a songstress that hails from Silver Spring, Maryland in the Washington Metropolitan area. For the past twenty years, Lady K has been commanding audiences with her four-octave vocal range, performing at local clubs and venues throughout the metropolitan area as well as abroad. From a young age, music was always a part of the household as she was heavily influenced by the soul and gospel icons of the 60's, 70's and 80's including James Brown, Isaac Hayes, Aretha Franklin, Barry White, Chaka Khan, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Bobby Womack and the list goes on.
