NYC: THE SONGS OF MICHAEL FINKE AT THE BEECHMAN
Rising musical theatre composer, Michael Finke, is bringing his songs back to THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE(407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909 - ) on Tuesday, May 14th at 9:30 pm. Michael is a recent NYU graduate whose work has already spanned New York City. His music has been performed at NYU, Joe's Pub, Don't Tell Mama, The Laurie Beechman, NYMF, and the Bowery Poetry Club, as well as a recent national broadcast on ABC. This ONE NIGHT ONLY event will feature songs from Michael's musicals including "Reporting Live" (NYMF, NYU), "Caroline and George" (440 Studios), "Other People's Relationships" (The Beechman), "Goodnight, Stranger" (The Helen Mills Theater), and many more. Acclaimed Broadway stars and emerging musical theatre performers come together to create an unforgettable evening of new work from Michael Finke, whose musicals range from the hilariously absurd to the darkly dramatic. There is a $10 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
