2012 MetroStar and Bistro Award winner, Billie Roe returns to the cabaret stage atTHE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) performing in tribute her all-time favorite songwriter Tom Waits. Shows are scheduled for Friday, May 17th at 7:00 pm; and Saturday, May 18th at 9:30 pm. Through Waits' music Billie will examine the real life 'film noir' events of the dirty, dangerous and destitute world of NYC in 1978, the year when, in all her youthful innocence, she began her singing career in New York. Musical Direction by Tracy Stark, with Peter Calo on guitar, Saadi Zain on Bass, David Silliman on Drums, and Roxy Coss on Sax/flute. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. $15 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.
