EVERYTHING OLD IS NEW AGAIN, on the Radio over WBAI 99.5 FM and on the Internet at http://www.wbai.org/, usually heard from 9:00 to 11:00 pm on Sundays hosted by David Kenney. Each week David presents the usual blend of big-band jazz, swing, standards, showtunes, contemporary cabaret and celebrity interviews plus MEGA-MEDLEY MADNESS. This Sunday, MAY 19th, David will present a full 3 hours of recorded songs and live & recorded interviews from the worlds of cabaret & Broadway starting at 8:00 pm, featuring a tribute to the songwriters of the "Great American Songbook". Songwriters to be represented (time permitting) include Harold Arlen, Irving Berlin, Marilyn & Alan Bergman, Michele Brourman, John Bucchino, Hoagie Carmichael, Cy Coleman, Judy Collins, Noel Coward, Annie Dinnerman, David Friedman, Ira Gershwin, Carol Hall, Marvin Hamlisch, Jerry Herman, John Kander & Fred Ebb, Carole King, Peggy Lee, Abbey Lincoln, Frank Loesser, Hugh Martin, Johnny Mercer, Joni Mitchell, Jessica Molaskey, Laura Nyro, Cole Porter, Harold Rome, Arthur Schwartz, Paul Simon, Stephen Sondheim, Bruce Springsteen, Charles Strouse, James Taylor, Jimmy Webb, Kurt Weill, Ronny Whyte and more!
