TONIGHT NYC: BROADWAY'S LESLIE KRITZER WITH BEAUTIFUL DISASTER AT JOE'S PUB
Broadway's Leslie Kritzer, currently starring in The Memory Show with The Transport Group (through May 18) returns to JOE'S PUB at THE PUBLIC THEATRE (425 Lafayette Street, NYC - 212-967-7555) with her all-new extravaganza Beautiful Disaster for four performances: April 22nd and 29th at 9:30 pm; May 13th at 9:30 and 11:30 pm. Written by Randy Blair (Fat Camp, Spidermusical, Perez Hilton Saves the Universe) and Leslie Kritzer, Beautiful Disaster is directed by Randy Blair, with music direction by Vadim Feichtner (Spelling Bee, Elegies, Little Miss Sunshine). Welcome to 1995, where a teenaged Jewrican musical theatre addict's life is about to be turned upside down in a tour-de-force one-woman comedy starring Broadway favorite Leslie Kritzer (Elf, Legally Blonde, A Catered Affair, Sondheim on Sondheim, Hairspray). Featuring a colorful array of New Jersey characters and a score ranging from Alanis Morissette to Jule Styne, Beautiful Disaster explores what happens when shit hits the fan and rebellion meets reality. Beautiful Disaster marks Kritzer's third major Joe's Pub engagement, following her sensational award-winning 2006 S.R.O. debut Leslie Kritzer is Patti LuPone at Les Mouches. Tickets are $25.
