CABARET PERFORMANCE / TALENT CONTEST IN NYC: "MAMA'S NEXT BIG ACT!" CABARET CONTEST THIS SUMMER
DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) will be presenting "MAMA'S NEXT BIG ACT!", a 12-week affair running every Tuesday, from June 9th through August 25th. "Mama's Next BIG Act!" will break new ground in the competitions field by attracting acts in multiple categories and then pitting the top vote-getters in head-to-head competition during the contest's final weeks. Voted by the audience and a cavalcade of celebrity judges, and MC'd by Multi-Award Winner Lennie Watts, the contest will invite solo, duo and group acts in the following categories: music, magic, drag, burlesque, and variety. "Mama's Next BIG Act!" runs for twelve consecutive Tuesdays: June 9th, 16th, 23rd (at 9:30pm); June 30th, July 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, August 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th (at 7:30pm).
