CHICAGO: WHAT MAKES A LADY? VALLERY DOLLS KNOWS!
Spend an evening with the Baritone Bombshell,Vallery Dolls as she returns to DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Friday, May 22nd at 8:00 pm to sing everything from Noel Coward and Kurt Weill, to Portishead, the Pointer Sisters, and Leonard Cohen. Vallery is accompanied by Chicago legend Kyle Greer on piano and Cheryl Lawson on drums. Vallery explains what makes this gal a "Lady" but keeps her from being the "Woman" she desperately wants to be. This show is packed with all the golden-throated glamour you've come to expect from Vallery's lauded appearances at Uptown Underground, Vaudezilla Burlesque, and Sideshow Theatre's "Chicago League of Lady Arm Wrestlers". There is a $15 cover.
