CHICAGO: THE IRVING SISTERS AT DAVENPORT'S

Linden Christ, Elise LaBarge and Sarah Simmons make their cabaret debut performance as the Irving Sisters at DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Wednesday, May 20th at 8:00 pm. Linden, Elise and Sarah are classically trained singers who share their love of three-part harmony in songs like "It don't mean a thing," "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy," and Irving Berlin's "Sisters." They teach, they act, they sing opera, they sing cabaret. Mostly, they walk around with the tunes of the Andrews Sisters, the Boswell Sisters, and the Chordettes bouncing around their heads, through their heels and out their mouths. Everything's better in threes, and these versatile ladies are proof. They're adding a fourth for this show: Jimmy Morehead on piano. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
