NYC: LAURA OSNES JOINS TIM REALBUTO'S WUNDERKIND CAST
Two-time Tony Award nominee Laura Osnes (Cinderella; Bonnie and Clyde) has joined the cast of Tim Realbuto's Wunderkind. Realbuto, the award winning performer and co-writer of Ghostlight the musical, has been touring his successful not-so-solo solo show about his life growing up in the theatre since July. The next stop on the tour is Monday, October 13th at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) at 7:00 pm. In this deeply personal, poignant, and hilarious show Tim will tell the (mostly) true story of how he grew up in show business and went from former child actor to the adult writer of the popular new Broadway-Bound musical Ghostlight. Wunderkind started as Tim Realbuto: Alone (With Plenty of Help), which enjoyed a sold-out run at 54 Below in July. The re-named and revamped version made its first stop at The Triad Theatre on Monday, September 1st, which happened to be Tim's 30's birthday. The tour continues October 13th at the Beechman, and November at Joe's Pub, with plans to bring the show to Orlando in late December. There is a $20 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
NYC: CRASS MONKEY SKETCH COMEDY SHOW AT THE BEECHMAN
Dean Jones and Kevin Skinner bring their absurd, surrealist sketch comedy show once again to the stage of THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Monday, October 13th at 9:30 pm. Featuring live and video sketches of parodies and original material, this hour long show wil remind you of SCTV and SNL in their heydays, without all the cocaine! There is a $5 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
NYC: DANIELLE WADE SINGS CARNER & GREGOR
Canadian superstar Danielle Wade will perform at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440)on Monday, October 13th at 9:30 pm along with special guest stars Derek Klena (DogFight, Wicked, Bridges ... ), Natalie Weiss (Everyday Rapture, American Idol, Wicked), and Stephen C. Anthony (Book of Mormon, Catch Me If You Can). Daniele burst on the scene in 2012 with her weekly television appearances - and win - of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Over the Rainbow: Search for the Next Dorothy." Blending a stunning ability to draw audiences in, a power-house voice, and a plucky likability-Danielle won Canada's heart and the role of Dorothy in the Toronto production of THE WIZARD OF OZ. But before her television and stage triumph in Toronto, New York songwriters Sam Carner and Derek Gregor discovered Danielle at a University of Windsor (Ontario) workshop and featured her in their fourth annual "Barely Legal Show-Tune Extravaganza" (her US debut). In an exciting one-night concert, fresh off her stint as Dorothy in the North American tour, Danielle Wade returns to New York and the American songwriters who first discovered her. Carner & Gregor have five MAC-nominated songs to their name, including favorites like "Sing, But Don't Tell," "Wall Lovin'," and "So Far From Pennsylvania," and their musical UNLOCK'D delighted audiences at the Duke Theater in 2013 in an extended run. Known for their eclectic mix of thrilling rock beats, lush romantic melodies, envelope-pushing comedy, and unique ability to capture everyday experience, Carner & Gregor's work has become a cabaret staple around the world. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
NYC: RICKY SAUNDERS IN A WORLD OF HIS OWN

In this dynamic evening, Ricky uses storytelling through music from stage, screen and Top 40 to fantastically paint his one-of-a-kind journey of growing up. The show chronicles everything from the days of "The Saunders Performing Arts Center," a mid-Nineties makeshift theatre venue in the basement of his parents' conservative house in a suburb of Buffalo, to the Great Escape to his own personal "Neverland": New York City. Soar through the world of his imagination through his personal trials of faith, trust, wanderlust and finding the courage of being yourself in an industry that is difficult to break into.
